Cottonwood Creek Railroad Bridge
In my quest to discover interesting historic locations around the Dallas area, I came across the Cottonwood Creek Railroad Bridge (formerly known as The Pony Girder Bridge). This site is definitely a hidden historic gem in Allen, Texas (a suburb north of Dallas)! The bridge was built in 1910 in order to help the Houston and Texas Central Railroad companies transport goods between Dallas and Denison. Below are some images of what it currently looks like today!
